Of course, the amount of various components completely depends on the variety and use, individual difference is very far, such as low cement refractory castable cement as a binder and water consumption are low, and the amount of water (or liquid) in refractory mud is greatly increased.


There are many kinds of amorphous refractories and their classification methods are different. Amorphous refractory is mainly classified according to its construction characteristics, but also according to its porosity and the type of binder used and refractory aggregate material classification. According to the porosity classification: there are dense amorphous refractory and heat insulation amorphous refractory two categories. Dense amorphous refractory is also known as ordinary or heavy amorphous refractory, heat insulation amorphous refractory is also known as light amorphous refractory. According to the international standard (ISO1927-75) classification, heat insulation amorphous refractory lining after drying sample porosity should not be lower than 45%.


According to the type of binder classification: according to the chemical properties of the binder can be divided into inorganic binder amorphous refractory and organic binder amorphous refractory two categories. According to the hardening mode of the binder, it can be divided into gas hardware binder, hydraulic binder, thermal binder and other types of amorphous refractories.


According to the aggregate material classification: aggregate has dense aggregate and heat insulation aggregate. Compact aggregate is mainly clay, high alumina, siliceous, magnesia, dolomite, spinel, chromium, zirconium, carbonaceous, siliceous carbide and other varieties; In addition, there are a variety of materials of heat insulation aggregate, mainly pumice stone, drift beads, vermiculite, ceramite, expanded perlite, porous clinker and alumina hollow ball, can also be made of heat insulation refractory products or pieces of aggregate.


According to the construction characteristics of the classification: mainly refractory castable, refractory spray coating, refractory spray filler, refractory plastic, refractory ramming material, refractory pressing material, refractory projection material, refractory smear, refractory mud and dry vibration material.
